About Linda...
Linda has always been passionate about music. From an early age she was influenced by her grandfather, an accomplished musician, and showed a great deal of talent. As a child she was called upon to play the organ at Sunday services (and she still does today!) and the music has never stopped. Throughout the years she has played for family and friends at their events, as an accompanist in community theater, and has taught hundreds of students in the public school system and privately, though she never considered herself a ‘professional musician.’
With a deep faith in God and a desire to honor the gifts He’d blessed her with, Linda stepped away from here business career and into a full time musical career, launching Notes of Celebration in 2002. Since starting the business she’s experienced a happiness and satisfaction that her corporate positions could never offer. She’s fulfilled most by seeing the joy and peace that music can bring to others and in the connection she establishes with her audiences and fellow performers. That, and the magic that happens when clients have specific music in mind for their event and Linda’s able to provide it. The flexibility that her music career offers has also enabled her to forge deeper connections with friends and family and to give back some of her time through church ministries.
Linda is a native of the Northwest and holds a Bahelor’s Degree from Seattle Pacific University and a Master’s from Pacific University Forest Grove. Her maiden name is Eggiman, and she grew up on the Eggiman homestead. The family business was raising chickens and selling chicks and eggs… of course! She lives in the family home to this day and her children are the 5th generation to grow up in it.
Linda also has a deep commitment to servanthood, having participated in four mission trips and hosting international students. She also enjoys hiking, theater, and reading. She and her husband of 35 years share a son and a daughter, as well as two cats, Tink and Taco.
